    Question 04 BMW 760li cranks but want start

    Last night me and the wife was returning home, about 5-mls out from reaching the house. Stopped at a red light and the car just died. Puzzled, then I tried to start it back up and it cranked but would not start. I finally pushed it out of the road and tried to crank it several more times but still wouldn't start. The car cranked momentarily but ran rough and turned right back off. I had AAA towing to tow us home and now the adventure begins. Guys, I need your help. What do you think it could be?

    Start by verifying fuel to engine.....

    When did you last replace the fuel filter ?

    Look not you HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMPS. You have one on each side of engine. They go bad at 3k a piece!!
