    Ncs expert help

I am having a problem with NCS expert as when I go into expert mode -> select chassis -> I get a "faulty chassis" message. What could be the possible causes to this?

then this error log popped up on my desktop

Is the software installed directly on your C drive, or in your Documents/Settings folder? What chassis are you working with? Did you import your Daten files?

if you have the full E60 Daten, I would use the BMW Coding Tool to import them so all the files are placed in the correct folder(s). After that, you should be fine.

Couple of other suggestions are to ensure your comport and latency are set to 1 in device manager.

when you open the coding tool, there's an update Daten option for NCSEXPERT and WinKFP. Leave it installed on your C directory.

Hi, I am supposed to have e65 heading my trace files in NCSexpert? Looked down the notebooks not seeing any mention of e39. I had updated Winkfp with v41 e39 eaten. Would appreciate your responses. Thanks
