Did you talk to Rob at UUC?

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by hundreds of engineers that get paid thousands of dollars for something you bought at Pep Boys because your buddy who doesn't have a job told you it was 'better'?!?
I spoke to Customer Service. I don't remember the person's name. I didn't know to ask for Rob. I did talk to UPS and they were not even tracking a pick-up for delivery... Then why give me a tracking number? Makes it feel like a $360 dollar eBay scam that I didn't wish to deal with. Hence, the reason why I ordered directly thru the company instead of buying it used... It's fine. I don't wish to complain... Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue or if I'd been scammed?

UUC manufactuers most of thier parts in house. As a smaller scalled operation often times parts of a product are on production backorder and may hold up an order.
Tracking numbers are often automatically generated based on an order fulfillment system.
Not saying this is the issue in your case, but understand it happens.
Call and ask for Rob. Rob will not BS you. Rob is a great guy. I repeat... call and ask for Rob.

There was a backorder on a hardware piece that affected many shifter orders. That part has arrived and most backorders have been filled as of Friday and most of the rest will be shipping today.
To save time, these orders have been pre-processed with the shipping label generated, that's why you're seeing a tracking number.
There are a handful of shifter part numbers that may not be shipping today, I don't know which one you have. Please call me directly to check on your order.
