I had to call the coroner for a 997.

The whole event started on the afternoon of January 26th... on a private race course. The couple, a middle-aged gentleman with his beautiful woman, a Porsche 997, were out on a blissful drive. I was eyeing his woman hard, taking in the sights of those curves, her magnificent hips, and every ounce of that junk in her trunk. There was no jealousy from my E30, as she, too, was soaking in the sight.

I guess the gentleman didn't appreciate his woman being ogled, for he gave her the command to respond how she saw fit. She suddenly became vocal, bellowing out her signature growl. I grinned, ready to see how angry she really could get.

We crept up to approximately 40 MPH and I let my girl release her own snarl, something you wouldn't expect from such a small package. Their voices created an interesting harmony... a sound that was so refined yet so raw. We held it together and the 997 screamed first. It was almost simultaneous, but my girl gave it her all. Hammering it in second, burying the needle to 7,000 RPM before shifting into third was enough to get a nice lead. Halfway through third, the 997 realized she had been defeated. Her roar turned into a burble as she backed down quickly.

I could see the gentleman's face. It was a look of shock and horror that my old girl was far more rowdy than he expected. As we ended up side by side, his look of shock turned into a huge grin, following by him mouthing a very happy, "HELL YEAH!"

Yeah... I want a dash cam I can swivel as needed or maybe get a mount for my phone I can swivel at a moment's notice.

But... you know... that costs money and stuff.
