    E34 Check Engine Light

    I managed to get my stomp test working by adjusting my throttle cable, and then I got an error message 1215 "mass air sensor". I have gotten this code in the past, and I had replaced with a cheap Chinese knockoff sensor.

    This time, I installed a new Bosch unit, and the check engine error went away immediately. After a couple of days, the light would come on at stop lights etc., and a few days later (this morning) the check engine light stayed on all the way to work. When I got to work, I did a stomp test, and I see 1215 all over again.

    Is there a connection or something other than the mass air flow sensor which can commonly cause this code?
