    Reinstall headlight film

    Hello

    please help

    i have a beautiful 2001 330i.
It has aftermarket headlights that it came with when I bought it used 3 years ago.

A while ago when I was washing it, the clear protective film over the headlight started to come off.
I carefully pressed it back down and avoided it for some time with the pressure washer.
it was fine for months until today. I was washing my car and the whole thing came off.

what is the best way to reattach it.? It still has some tack to it but I imagine I would need to use some sort of adhesive? Hairspray?

    please help guys

    No I'm pretty sure it's a 3m type film.

If it came off its not going back on

Polish the lights and buy new pre-cut clear paint protection film. Its not very expensive. If you cant find it pre-cut just go to any tint shop

Its .50 cents worth of clear tint film, I'm not sure why you want to put it back on so bad. Once it has fallen off the adhesive is no longer good, anything used to re-attach it will likely damage the lens of the headlight itself. Definitely dont use hairspray...

There are pre-cut films for those headlights readily available if you want it that bad.
