Designs you have come up with for your car.

Myself, I am an engineer and always try and make things myself before I go spending money on things that I could potentially make myself. So I figured I would start a thread where people could post up things they have made or have wanted to make. I myself have made a few things for my car and am in the works of designing and making a few more things.

    Currently have made:
    - Corbeau side counts that mount directly to the floor, this eliminates having to buy VAC mounts and side mounts.
    - Rear top hat reinforcements
    - Front top hat reinforcements

    Designing/ making:
    - Dual brake caliper setup that utilizes OEM M3 rear calipers
    - Front floor pans since I have no carpet
    - Pedals
    - Rear diffuser
    - Some other BS

I myself am willing to share some of these simple designs if others have some things they would also like to share. Either post it up or shoot me a private message if you want to trade some designs.

Here is my seat brackets I designed, they bolt straight to the floor so you do not have to buy the floor mounts and then side mounts.

Does anyone have any dimensions for engine/ Transmission/ diff/ subframe mounts?

I made my own intake with heat shield. Someday I might reproduce it using carbon fiber.

That's cool... better than paying $200+ on a mass produced product right?

Heres a shot of the rear upper shock mount reinforcement plates I made. Having access to a Trumpf laser is a great thing

As you can see I made it pretty much a "press fit" on the inner diameter. This is 1/8" stainless I believe.

Made my prototype dual caliper bracket that utilizes OEM M3 calipers and bolts on in place of the dust shield. Also making some templates for floor pans and thinking about making door cards, anyone got a template?
