I have an 03 Mini Cooper S and It has me stumped I am a 15+ year auto mechanic and work a lot on these mini's but this one is very odd. So every time you turn on the headlights the right front speed sensor goes dead until the lights and key are turned off. I have checked almost every ground on the car and also checked a lot of the wiring harness for wear points but found none. I checked the connections at the abs module they were good I also cleaned and added Stabilant 22 to the terminals. If you unplug one of the headlights and then turn the lights on the speed sensor never goes dead it is the load of both headlights coming on causing the problem. Any thoughts would be great.
Thanks

maybe hte lights are not right or not the right ones?
No e30s again.
How are you seeing that the RF wheel speed sensor is "dead" after the headlamps are switched on?...is your machine able to see the feedback from that particular sensor?
