    TPM Malfunction-RDC/TPM control unit replacement

So I've got water in the trunk from a leaky cooler which smoked my TPM control unit(fairly common issue on this forum), I've located the part on ebay and my local dealer, but my concern is that the clip/plug that plugs into the TPM control unit(6 778 387 01) is fried as well. The plug at the end of the wires. Does anyone know if this is included when you order the part from the dealer? and more importantly is it easy to replace?? Has anyone done this? Any info would help!
