I just test drove a 2013 135i 6 speed at two days ago, it was great fun. I was impressed by the torque below 2k rpm, about the same level as my e39 M5 but delivered with no stumbles.

The e38 750iL is stunning, I do want it quite badly. That 750iL has every single option box check possible for a US market car, except for the sport package which probably wasn't available with the chromeline package. The guy selling it has ones just like it for sale every week with similarly low mileage. He charges a premium but they are by far the cleanest cars I have ever seen on ebay. T

That e38 is amazing! It looks brand new, would definitely buy if it was for sale next fall.

    "Clownshoe," love it!

135i's are not that cheap around here. I don't think I could buy a car off eBay, but I enjoyed looking at that list.

My family has purchased two cars off of ebay, both e38s that we have owned. The buying process on there is great. The 98 740iL we bought way back in early 2001 when eBay wasn't that big. We ended up selling the first one on eBay 8 years later when we replaced it with the 2001 e38, also purchased on eBay. Both times we went and saw the car in person before handing over a check and driving it home though.

I've had good luck with Craigslist... however, I do think I could find cars cheaper on the 'bay for sure. Glad it's worked out well for you!

No one said they were cheaper, but they were in great condition.

http://enthusiastauto.com check these folks out. They seem like the real deal, read some of their reviews. Quite a nice selection and preparation for sale seems to be off the charts. I'm not sure of another dealer / reseller that goes to the extent these guys go to. At first glance the prices seem a little higher but also look at what you are buying. These cars are low mileage and with quite a bit of work into them to ensure reliability down the road.

I'm definately keepin them in mind for my upcoming purchase.
