E38 Replacement Rear Door Trim Weather Strip Seal
Forum post discussing this seal and describing it's installation can be found here on the message board

This is $17.55 delivered for a 5 foot piece of the seal. You will only need 2 feet per side so there is a additional 1 foot provided for any mistakes in trimming ends from a 90 degree cut to a curved taper cut at the beginning of the seal. Can easily be cut with a good pair of scissors, razor blade, exacto knife, etc..... $17.55 is for 1 5 foot section
I'm sorry but I'm not prepared to deal with International orders and the higher costs associated with shipping outside the USA so this is limited to those with the USA.
Thanks!
Paul

How does the Install go?
Xboss & Cobrajet429 will be posting their installations of this seal with directions and pics based upon their experience later this next week as the seals are currently in transit to them. Otherwise if you read the entire posting about these in theE38 forum I also described my installation but I had no pics taken during the install so there is only my verbal description of how I did the install currently available. Thanks for the interest.

Thanks paul. Every e38 needs this and its worth the asking price vs. Having to buy the whole chrome piece from BMW for an outrageous price...
UPDATE:
Just purchased!!! Panjo isnt all that bad. Very easy to purchase!

Hey GMCPaul, let me know if/when you allow international orders.
I can even redistribute here for Europe if you want.
I don't know, we are already spending a lot of time just doing them within the USA on packaging & labeling (about 2 hours spent on 16 shipped )and in my initial figures I thought I would be breaking even but with the PayPal fees involved we are actually losing .40875 cents per transaction, which will mean I lose just a little over $20.00 selling these 50 sets. I'm not looking to make anything just trying to help others with something that can't be sourced through normal means. So its not like I could sell you 10-20 sets and you see any sort of profit for your labors without having to mark them up.
Paul
Sold out, My Thanks to everyone who purchased in helping to recoup the investment needed to get these made.
Paul
it seems i'm too late in seeing this thread, are you gonna be shipping another batch soon?
Thanks.
Sorry no plans to have more made currently as I ended up having to invest approx. $500.00 + 20 or so hours cutting to length, packing and labeling the ones we did sell over a 8 month period just to recoup my initial investment and end up breaking even. Glad I was able to help those I could with these and sorry I couldn't help everyone that wanted them. The first 25 or so went quick then it took 5-6 months to sell the rest so if I ran a 2nd run of it I could easily for see it take well over a year just to recoup my costs. Perhaps when I purchase my next 750 it'll probably need them and if so maybe then I'll consider another run. Thanks for your interest though.
Paul
Next time charge a little more and make it a group buy...
If we get another 15-20 minimum people and they don't mind me charging a little extra money for my time I'll get another 250' made. I still don't want to deal with any international shipping though.
If you can make a little money and the price is still reasonable I would see that as motivation to have a group buy. Still better than having to buy the original chrome piece with the rubber attached for an outrageous price...
I'm good for one set plus one I'll ship to Zener.
Well that's 2 we only need a dozen or so more now. Paul
Let's get this going again. I haven't used mine yet but this is a great product!
count me in for another set.

Add me to the list mate!
Come on guys let's replace that nasty rubber trim!
I've been contacted by someone looking to get 5 sets of these so we are up to 9 sets reserved now. Need another 6 sets before I'll place another bulk roll order. It's slowly getting there.
Paul
Have you mentioned this on the bimmerfest.org board? PM me and maybe we can get that final 6 going!

Hi,
I will take four sets and possibly more. I live in Canada and can make arrangements for shipping to a US address if you would not consider a bulk order to Canada, 10 sets?. For any others outside of the US, I can purchase more and make arrangements for shipping to you. My guess is the cost for others would be 2x plus Shipping from Canada.
Kevin
GMC, where does that put us? Ready for production?

I'll be going ahead and place a order for more to be made. I will post here and contact those that have posted and relist this on Panjo once they get the run done and it's delivered to my warehouse. I'd guess somewhere in the 10-14 days range unless they are backed up with current production.
