Lightbulb Schuh Syndikat 2014 - Planning underway!

As we approach the end of the year- some of you are already thinking about vacation next year (I know I am), so wanted to plant the seed for Schuh Syndikat 2014.

Schuh Syndikat, the East Coast's Z3 and M Coupe event, will meet again May 1-4, 2014 in Charlotte, NC USA

We'll repeat the popular stuff people love, and throw in a twist or two to change it up: Spirited Drive.. Parking Lot Shenanigans.. Cool Cars and Tech.. Cheesy Trophies.. Free Stuff.. Raffles for cool stuff. Basically Top Gear without the accent..

My Pledge: any entry fees and other proceeds not used for the event will be donated to charity. This year we are donating to Wounded Wear: http://woundedwear.org
Wounded Wear was founded by wounded Navy Seal LT. Jason Redman.. They provide clothing and clothing modifications to wounded warriors among other missions.

My plan is to iron out the details by Early march, then open registration by April 1st.

The event is focused on the E36/8 Z3 and M Coupe however, all BMW owners are invited to participate. We had two roadys in attendance last year.

If you've envied the Dorks at Dorkfest but could never justify the trip.. This is your chance for a similar experience. We're a days drive or less for everybody east of the Mississippi.

    Eric,

We'll see if I can make it. We'll be on the east coast next year, but a few things may preclude involvement. Would be totally cool to have attended both Dorkfest and Schuh Syndikat within a year.

Are us west coast kids invited? Permitting weather, I'd love to attended. Especially if the excess fundings are going towards a great cause.

I get to do Dorkfeat, but meeting east coast clown shoes sounds like a great vacation.

Left-Coasters are indeed welcome! Dork or Schuh we're in the same Cartel. Our early season date makes it possible to do both if you want.

-and another thing -It doesn't matter if your car isn't pristine, or if it's an M or not. Don't be thinking this isn't your kind of crowd, we're a big tent with attendees from pretty much all demographics.. If you love these cars- you are welcome here.

    Eric,

Schuh Syndikat 2014 was on my calendar as soon as Schuh Syndikat 2013 ended. Thanks for all your and your wife's efforts in making this event happen.

Haven't had a coupe all that long, but thought Dorkfest was the only major get together and I'm on the wrong coast. This sounds great, I'll be here.

As a roadie owner with a serious case of coupe envy, this event is on my list. I am going to try very hard to make it this year.

There are a few of us trying to organize a larger caravan South this year. I'm going to send a few messages out and try to get a route that accommodates most.

And tires. Too bad you can only carry one at a time in a coupe.

Yeah, I've decided that I'm definitely down. Going to be rolling out from the LA area. I just bought a DD coupe that is being overhauled maintenance wise, so hopefully it'll get me there. And, even more so, hopefully it'll get me back as well. I'll make sure to talk to my shop so they can give me an honest assessment of what items I'll need to make it there. Though, to be honest, I'm always afraid of how bad you east coast drivers are.

Edit- Who wants to caravan from the Best Coast?!
