radio code?

First I`m not familar with forums or how they work so with respect to you all here goes.I recently bought a 2000 bmw Z3 M roadster best buy of my life great car.The first owner replaced the battery before I got it,so the radio needs the radio code he lost it.I told my wife they use the code so if someone steals it it won`t work,I know we got a great price buying it and didn`t think the radio thought I stole it.So if anyone can help I appreciate any help.VIN#WBSCK9348YLC92609 radio#BP9273X4289250 Blaukt#7649 273042/44/42 build date 12/99 great car just a little to quite.

Call a local BMW dealership and give them your radio serial number. They should be able to look up your code.

Write it down.

Yup. I just called my local BMW Dealership and they couldn't find my code over the phone, so they asked for a picture of my label. Sent it to them via email and got my code within 15 minutes. Awesome!
