Spenka, Its funny cause yesterday i had misfire cylinder number 5, i switch the coil to cylinder 4 and the problem disappear, i was expecting it to move to the fourth. Those are the fancy red coils, i guess like everyone else said they suck. Anyway, change plugs , check wires, do a leak test if all good i have an ecu we can try it on if you want to see that will stop your misfire if all came ok, i am not far from you i am in somerville ma.
I had a similar situation last year. It was a bad connection at the fuel injector. Pop the cover off the injector harness but leave the bottom half attached to the injectors. Use some needle nose pliers and gently pull on each wire. I wouldn't be surprised if one of them pulled right out. If it does then push it back onto the injector.

Nope the one I described was last year. I'm pretty sure the one from Wednesday is my plugs. Picked up new ones today

I started the car and pulled off the coil pack connection on cylinder 3, there is a dramatic change in engine sound. I did it also for cylinders 4 & 5 with the same result. If cylinder 4 is giving the same result as 3 & 5 when the coil pack connection is taken off doesn't that mean cylinder 4 is firing as well?
I pulled of coil pack 1 connection, the engine sound changed then plugged it back on but engine still was misfiring. Heard it through the exhaust and from the engine. I shut the car off then restarted it then cylinder 1 started firing again with no more misfire from exhaust or engine.
After all my diagnostic checks for cylinders 1 3 4 & 5, the OBD reader is telling me P0304- cylinder 4 misfire.
I haven't checked the injectors yet but if I'm doing that I'm thinking I may just swap out to my m50 manifold at the same time.

I just gave it a test drive and it performs fine.

New NGKs are in. Old plugs look brand new. I've never seen any look that good. Gaps are all good.
