I keep going back and forth on this. I would likely go for Volk TE37's (only real this time) or some HRE's. But I see other tourings with 18's on them and they just look too small to me. Tough call.

Thanks. The brakes do cause major steering shake on initial bite as of now. I need to figure out the cause. Could be sticking caliper or hot spots on the rotors. It's the reason the previous owner sold me the BBK. But even if I replace all rotors and rebuild the calipers, I still feel like I got a good deal. I also need to continue to bed them.

I need to break in the motor for a few hundred miles but I intend to since I will need new rear tires soon anyway

It's been tough to break in the motor with all the rain. Looks like better weather is on the horizon so I plan to drive it to work this week and am trying to schedule a tune ASAP. The brakes are getting better as I drive it more too. Dave Zeckhausen thinks this is normal because the rotors are used and had been improperly broken in. He seems convinced that another week or so of driving with an occasional bedding procedure on the new pads will do the trick. But worst case, I get new front rotors. I also need to get a quote on getting the back seat upholstered to match the rest of the M5 caramel interior. Then the car will be complete. I don't intend to ever paint it because then I would just worry about it all the time. As it stands, I don't mind beating on it or leaving it unattended while parked next to soccer moms

Ready for the new maiden voyage. I went full firm on the rear shocks and the car rides much better than I remember. Anxious to see how it does on the 45 min drive to work.

Its called Speed Thrills Racing -- should come up if you Google. They have an event next Saturday (6/4) at the new track in Spotsylvania called Dominion. Its a roll race event that shouldn't quite provide the same WannaGoFast 1/2 mile speeds...but should be pretty solid. They claim to have a good list of cars with all sorts of HP ratings attending but still have spots available.

Me neither but have been told by a few people that he tunes all types of cars. He tuned my buddies 2J GS that you saw at Thayer when we all hung out.

19x9.5/10.5. IIRC, the offset is +22 on front and rear but I am running a 12mm spacer up front.
