can someone please talk me through wiring up my rpm tach
ok so ever since my m20 swap my tach hasnt worked, want it to work now. my car is an 84 318 with an 87 m20b25 swap, i heard its possible to hard wire the tach, but im not sure how to go about that.
IIRC the early models have a C104 connector in the glove box. That's what sends the tach signal. Later M20s send it through the C101 connector. That's about all the info I have for you.
Status: Someone put glitter in my oil. Wait. Why's all my oil outside the engine? What's that knocking?
*shrugs* it's a 2 wire I believe. But there's a few connectors like that in the area. I don't recall colors off the top of my head and I wouldn't put it past BMW to change it up.
