I'm looking for a suitable (i.e., deeper sound but not TOO loud) aftermarket exhaust for an MCS. In my E36 M3 I prefer the Active Autowerkes Gen III, so that's the kind of sound level I'm looking for in the MCS exhaust.
Suggestions?
Mike
I've heard some good things about the UUC exhaust.
If you check their web page they used to have sound files on it.
Milltek and London Stainless both sound very good.
Who is the best source for London Stainless Quicksilver exhausts in the US?
I think you'd like the Borla Sport or the UUC. The Borla Sport is the one of the least restrictive cat-backs on the market, not quite as loud as Magnaflow or UUC. I have this system and I love it. Even if it's 20 degrees outside, I'll still turn off my radio, roll down the windows, and drop it down two gears and listen to it scream. The tips look far better than the Magnaflow too and it costs about $650, $200 less than UUC and makes more power than UUC.
Well, after doing my due diligence and talking to the owner, Adam, at Alta I went with the Alta.
