2002 318i E46 Sedan - Rear deck wiring problem for Rainbow IQ165 speakers

Hi

I have a bought a pair of Rainbow IQ165 speakers however the male connectors on the speakers do not fit the female connectors that are attached to the car. I thought the speakers were a straight swap which is why I bought them. I have attached some photos to show the problem. Basically the male pins are too wide apart to fit in the female sockets

What are my options? Do I need to get some more connectors and solder them on, please could you tell me what connectors to buy and preferably show me a guide on how to attach them!!
