Did the other side undercoating/rust prevention, this is it sitting overnight to dry.

No it really doesn't, especially not in the north island where it doesn't even snow. Its a combination of better safe than sorry and me wanting to do some work to the car, the spray was only $19NZD a can. I don't have any plans on selling it either so I guess it doesn't hurt.
