    Only on 6 cyl

If i witch around the two fuel lines at the back before the fuel filters and there is a change on engine bank it means the fuel pump is no good

I am assuming thats a question on if you switch the 2 fuel hoses around then the engine would run on the opposite bank?

If I am correct, all you will need to do it disconnect both of the fuel lines where they enter the filters and drop them into a small container and then briefly crank the engine to see if you get a fuel delivery from both lines.

This will check that both pumps are delivering fuel. If they are, then retry with the outlets of the filters detached as you may have a fuel delivery restriction in one filter.

No. I'm not sure what the screens are or what they refer to. The "screen" may have something to do with the fuel pumps.

To do filters on an 850i, follow this procedure:

-With the car off, remove fuses #23 (fuel pump for cyl 1-6) and #24 (fuel pump for cyl 7-12)
-Start engine and let it stall due to lack of fuel (since pumps are off), this relieves pressure in the fuel hoses
-Remove filters and hoses, replace filters, hoses and hose clamps
-Replace fuses 23 and 24, turn key to ignition setting 2 for about 10 seconds (i believe this activates fuel pumps)
-Crank engine and push gas pedal to start car (it may be a little difficult)
-Use fuel line hose clamps that are flat metal WITHOUT serrations.

It's not a bad idea to check the screens on the fuel pumps; I've seen several of them with splits and holes in them.
How come the middle half of any project always takes the most time?

You do not need to remove batteries.
You have to remove fuses 23 and 24 from the fuse box on the driver's side firewall in the engine bay and then start the car to stall the engine. This reduces the fuel pressure in the fuel system and hoses. It doesn't matter how long the car has been sitting, you need to do this.

without a spark signal you wont get fuel. Check your crank position sensor for that bank.
