Since Tischer BMW still has not sent me my upper spring plates for the 5 and its up in the air, I pressure washed the wheel wells and the bottom of the car.

changed my tires without the help of MY DAD CURT and vacuumed dash mat. that was all for today. just got a new muffler off of ebay and some new license plate led lights gonna tackle those later this week. also bid on some underglow neons

no pics but on Friday evening i worked on Josh's (Xmahatma) M3. installed fan delete kit (new thermostat, aluminum thermostat housing, lower temp radiator switch, waterwetter, etc), put in a new water pump, and installed a new Mishimoto aluminum radiator (plus coolant reservoir and upper/lower radiator hoses) on the car. Josh and Speedster helped with some of the work as well.

Warning: paragraphs coming due to sorting out BS that one of the previous owners of my car installed.

I started looking into a couple things that were bugging me.

1)The Angel Eyes that came on my car are CFFL's and only one worked on each side and I'm not a huge fan of the AE's to begin with so I got the AE's disabled and also pulled the electrical tape that was on the parking lamp bulbs off so that they work again. Much cleaner looking now.

2) Started looking into why the foglights are always on when the headlamps are on regardless of the switch position. Found that the fuse box has a jumper wire from the fog lamp fuse to the headlight fuse, pulled the jumper out and the foglights stopped running when the headlamps were on, but the switch would not turn them on. This will require a more in depth diagnosis soon to come.

3) Pulled the lower dash off on the drivers side to look at the wiring that goes to the fog light switch and found the relay for the kill switch (I'll either rewire this at some point or remove it) that a previous owner installed - Picture 1. I also found a loose electrical component hanging down, hopefully one of you will be able to identify what it is for me - Pictures 2/3.

The trim on a 4 door is a bit different than on a 2 door, but...

On the 2 lower pieces there are metal tabbed clips
On the rear window corner section there are 4 plastic push clips
On the top section you have to pull it from the frame of the car (no clips)

So there are 3 different mounting types...

Finally got my passenger side window regulator to work!!!!! After several attempts and fails. Ended up having to leave the rear bolts sorta loose so it could move in the slots and not bind up. Now for the rear regulator...

As for your WTB sig, you did know that you can't use most spacers with the Kosei wheels didn't you? They don't have the same bevel as bimmer wheels according to what I've read. (No personal experience and I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.)

As much as I love my wife I HATE(!!!!) sharing my E34 with her. I came completely unstacked yesterday when I had to pick up some fu3kin6 Cheetos off the rear seats.

Dammit! I have to get another car for her so she can leave mine alone!
