My name is Joshua Lira. I've had my 08 335i w/ 6 spd for nearly three years and just barely started reading these forums. There's alot of good things to read on here.
Just brought home a CPO 2008 328xi with 29,000 miles, steptronic, cold weather pkg. Pretty basic but that what was in the budget. Car is awesome and thank goodness for Valentine one. My only complaint is that the auto trans is a little slow on the downshift sometimes, but much better when shifting it myself.
Hey Guy's, just picked up a 2006 330i with only 15,905 miles....
Love my 328i convertible, just passed my 1000 miles today!
Hello,
Just bought a 2006 330xi (sport, nav, 6 speed) yesterday. This is the first BMW I have owned. I was able to use a 94 325is back in 95 for a week and I was very impressed. There are pictures of me as a baby with my dad and his 196? BMW 2002.
I have been a VW owner for some time and traded in my 2004.5 GLI. After just one day, I do not think I will go back. I test drove a few AWD vehicles (A4, C300, 2 Caddy's, Fusion Sport) and they do not compare to the 330xi.
Hi All!
I am eagerly awaiting my first BMW - 2011 328i coupe in Montego Blue / Gray Dakota leather. (A gift from me, to me, for finishing medical school.)
I had previously only owned Toyotas, so giant leap for me...my dad has had a couple of 5-series (E39 and E60), and a Mercedes-Benz E320. After having driven all of them, I definitely wanted to join the BMW legacy with a sexy sports coupe!
It's at the production center, waiting to be delivered into my arms! So excited...
Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Tonight, a black used 335i xdrive sedan just arrived off the transport truck. I got a few hours in to drive it around, all at night. It's a 6 speed manual, Dakota saddle interior, amazed at how fast and solid it is!
I test drove an automatic 335i earlier in the year, as a loaner, and now I've got one. It's still sinking in, though. The leg room in the back is a whole lot better than I thought it would be, and, honestly, the base sound system is not *THAT* bad. I was expecting something comparable to the old Toyota, and it's much better, and quite tolerable. Also, if sound gets annoying enough, easy to DIY replace the speakers.
Admittedly, the exterior lines aren't nearly as pretty and timeless as the 540i, for me, but the driver enjoyment I'm getting is orders of magnitude more. Still keeping the 540i for detailing practice and highway driving.
Got a Deep Sea Blue Metallic 335i 6mt with iDrive, Sport and grey Dakota leather last month. She's my first real car, i had a Buick in HS, and this was my graduation present from college, what a difference.
Created a little thread already but figured I'd pop in here too

Hi folks - I've been off driving a Subaru for the last two years after selling my E30, but will be picking up a 2007 335i in the next couple of weeks. Looking forward to the switch - although the Soob was a LOT of fun (especially in the snow), the deal on the 3 was too good to pass up.
Only picture I have so far is from the Bluegrass Bimmers event at Putnam last June.

Hi all, I have a 2008 328i Sedan. Decided to stop by here to see about some possible mods.
I just purchased my first BMW last week. A 2006 330i. Picked it up in FL and drove it 1300 miles home. Loved every minute of it.
Just got my 2010 328i. Wanted to say hello to all.
I just bought my first 2007 BMW 328i 6 speed manual. Love the care and despite the instrument cluster failing that was replaced under warrantee.
Love the car, fun to drive and looks great.
My wife and I bought our first BMW, a 2007 328xi 6spd mt, Jet black, and Dakota Saddle Interior. So far it has been great! Im looking for ideas for future mods and DIY stuff, Im looking forward to being apart of this community. My last car that is pending sale is a 508whp Acura Integra GSR, hence my username Colton"VTEC"s.
Hey Peeps!
I bought a 2010 328I SULEV Coupe. Blk Sapphire Metallic, Coral Red Leather Interior, Walnut Wood Trim, with Nav, M Sports Package, Premium Package, & Steptronic. It was a Corporate BMW car with 14,000 miles.
Always loved family and friends BMWs so finally decided to get my own.. Can't wait to tweak it a little. Hopefully I can find a cool spot to take pics to post, still new to LA.. Any suggestions welcomed, Thanks.

Hello! I just joined with a purchase of a 2008 325i - it really is the "ultimate driving experience" and I'm hoping to learn a lot about my first BMW
I just got my first BMW. A 2006 330i. I have always liked these cars but have usually driven Mustangs and Camaros with a GTO and a Lightning lately. I love the car. Should of pulled the trigger years ago.
Hello everyone. I am a first time owner, purchased my 2008 328i hard top convertible (silver metallic/dakota red leather interior) last August. Been having fun every day since!
Hey all ... another new BMW owner. Just bought myself a 2008 335i SE Convertible. Had to buy after test drive ... just a lovely engine and drive. Hoping to pick up lots of tips and tricks here and happy to help where possible.
Greetings all. First time owner in central Florida with a 2007 graphite metallic sport / premium 335i sedan. I've been a mustang guy my whole life. Last two cars were a 600+ rwhp 2004 whippled mystichrome cobra, and a 500+ rwhp 2003 sonic blue cobra. Those cars are just all straight line chest pounding muscle, but nothing else. I wanted to merge into the luxury sport world and buy a car that both my wife and I could drive. It's a blast to have a 10 second street car and scare the snot out of innocent drivers with a screaming supercharger. But, when it comes time to actually roll up the windows, have a conversation, listen to some music, or just take a trip somewhere, the cobras were utterly useless! :-)
So, three days into the 335i, I can say that the power level is plenty adequate. The paddle shifters are very fun. More responsive than I expected. Wish I could've gotten a manual, but it's really my wife's car and it's a hopeless proposition to get her to drive a manual car. I'll look into some power upgrades and mappings soon. Really sweet how these cars can run deep into the 12s with a few power upgrades and a simple mapping / tune.
Anyways, I'll probably be floating around in the background soaking up knowledge for a while. Cheers!
Just picked up a 2009 328i Convertible last week for the wife. Very nice car. iDrive with Navigation, sport package and comfort access. Happy to join the forums, and I'm sure I'll learn a lot here.

I just bought a 2009 e92 335i. I love this car. Stopping by to see which mods I should get.
Hi,
I've just crossed over from the darkside (2000 Audi S3).
Bought myself a 2008 BMW 320i E92 in March of this year. Originally the plan was to stop with the modding and have a reasonably sensible car that i didnt have to worry about every speed bump with - S3 was lowered a fair amount as was my previous MK2 Golf GTI, both with very stiff setups!
Anyway that idea went out the window exactly 1 month after i bought the Beemer when i had fitted -35mm springs (rear) and -25mm (front). Stepped the wheels out with some spacers (17mm rear & 12mm front), replaced the chrome grille with a black one and got sorted with some "white" angel eyes (although im not happy with the brightness!). Anyway thats my car, im me, thats that.
