    Combination of

    http://bimmerboard.com/members/clex2...ndle%20DIY.doc (Mainly for pics)

    http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/sh...eplacement-DIY

However, there were some things neither mentioned(or at least I didn't see) so I had to kinda figure those out myself. But once you see how everything works, it all makes sense. It's just annoying cause of the lack of space. More than happy to help if you get stuck!

Cool, thanks! Did you replace the handle assembly in its entirety?

Yessir, part of mine was cracked and ended splitting in two while taking it out. I believe they only sell it as the whole assembly anyway.

Do you have a reasonably priced source for the assembly?

I bought it from ecs for a little under $100. Should be about the same everywhere.

Yep, no problem! If you're doors are hard to open, try hitting the actuator with some white lithium grease and see if that helps. I bought both driver and passenger side handles. Only ended up changing driver side cause all the passenger side needed was greasing up.

Heat shielding on the firewall and dropped the block back in...

Going to start reconnecting all the bits tomorrow, I'll put the head back on early next week hopefully.

Nice work! Good way to address the cooling system before there's an issue

Picked up a block tester from NAPA and confirmed my suspicions fluid turned from blue to green/yellow aka combustion gases in cooling system. RIP to the OG head gasket. Did me well these past 200k miles.

Installed a headliner and center console from my parts car, I'm at about 92% interior now. Turned out my 95 was a factory no armrest car. I've never seen another US e36 without one.

My '97 318i Sedan did not have an armrest. Which personally I hate them, at least in an Auto. Considering removing it in the 328i.

    new idle control valve
new icv hoses, boot, crankcase vent hoses
also discovered the 2 hoses that attach to the icv do not need clamps, they fit tight and form a vacuum seal

I've finally started acquiring some parts over the last couple of months that I have been putting off buying. Hoping to have time to start installing soon.

New steering wheel and ZHP knob to go with the Bear SSK kit I recently installed

RallyRoad Stealth 340 fuel pump kit with harness kit

Morimoto HID kit to go with the FX-R retrofit I am finishing up

    Race Brace

Rieger GT front lip and Hella horn kit

Motion Motorsports underpanel kit with radiator baffle

    Rear diffuser

Turbo E36 M3 with all the things..

Finally got final piece of intercooler piping together. Running oil feed line from oil pressure sensor custom made fitting. Trying to find a tap that fits this drain fitting I have, this town sucks for tuner options. Removing crappy grocery getter exhaust from my wife's E46 too. Thank Jesus, maybe it will sound alive for one in its life.
