I have a client that bought this car new. Black/black with excellent paint andonly one ding that I could find. Needs tires and rear mufflers. Front lip has hit the curb a few times but guys this is an irreplaceable car. 31K 1 owner miles. Few pixels out in the OBC but they all do that. Has throwing stars and is a real Csi! anyone looking for this? Guy wants to trade it on a 650Ci. We are a BMW dealer,PM me or mail at bradley.ray@bmwofnashville.com

Mention it on the Roadfly E31 forum. There is usually someone looking for a CSi
List the vin when you post about it.
Do you have an anticipated Price range?

Not sure about the price yet. We are trying to come to a fair market value to trade. Tough when the guy bought it new for 6 figures and now its worth 1/4 of that..*puke*

If it is a good one, then a private or dealer sale should net $50k+
Even a mediocre one should sell in the mid $40K range.
Book values have no bearing on current CSI market prices. Recent sales have been in the range of $50K to $70K-- There were only 225 850 CSi's to begin with and less than 200 now-The only remotely collectable US 8.
At 25% of the new cost I could have a long line outside your place waving their checkbooks. I would probably be in the front of it:)
Feel better now?

Pulled the CarFax and it is clean and shows one owner
VIN WBASEG9320RCD001115
Gladly will fax the CarFax to interested parties. Again the car needs, a front spoiler, new tires, front brakes, and mufflers to be perfect, about 5k would kill it I think.

And the part for the center of the front spoiler is only 200 bucks = paint and install but I was figuring 2K for a whaole front nose so only about 3K to make it right. FYI

Word is from the broker that had the car that it took 30K the way it sat. A co worker said he saw it on the road with a temp tag on it but I have not been able to verify this.

Car has not sold. The broker had a tag on it because the hard plate had expired. Will have details Monday about what it will be available for.

04/13/2004 Accident = Left Front Impact with Another Vehicle. TN State Police Case # 08168817.
That is all the information from Autocheck. You can probably get more details from the TN State Police.

How did you aquire a car your client already had? And how does a BMW dealer not know the market for a 850 CSI?
NashvilleE34
11-18-2006, 07:43 AM
Pretty easy. My client wants a Continental GT the dealer didn't want the car on trade so we bid it. The market is about 50K for a car like this.....are you a player at 50K?
ADAM///M

So given that the original deal was for around $30K, can we assume that you picked it up for $30K? If so you should make over $20K on the deal yourself.
Nice flip.

OK guys here are the pics. I have not had a chance to reference the Police report but I can tell you this. I took a paint meter to the left fender and it has been painted (very well) but does NOT look to have been replaced. None of the bolts have been turned so I would not call the incident severe or even significant. The guy put on new tires PS2's on the front and Pilot Sports on the rear :confused dunno proly all they had in stock but htey are fresh. Front spoiler is getting fixed tomorrow and then going for a full detail and buff....
